OLD MAP OF THE MOJAVE 

Found on page 96 of "Pilgrims in the Desert" is this old map of unknown date, but most likely from the mid 1920"s.  In the bottom left corner you will see a dotted line labeled "Proposed Arrowhead Trail", that is the approximate route of Interstate 15 today.  Going east from Baker you will see a solid black line leading through "Halloran Spring", "Valley Well" and "Mexican Well". That is also the approximate route of the interstate today.

Silver Lake, shown in large letters was the town at the time.  Baker was a small siding on the Tonopah and Tidewater Railroad.
